I really don't know how to act! I finished my February UFO (#10) for the 2011 UFO Challenge hosted by Judy at Patchwork Times
This has proven to be a very effective motivational tool for me........so far.....it is only February!! But I am thrilled to have at least two goals accomplished.
This project was a table runner made from the Wintergraphix line by Jason Yenter. I absolutely love these fabrics. I started changing my Christmas decorations to blue last year and these fabrics are wonderfully blue!
I machine pieced and hand quilted it.

First, Fifth, Forever--January

Like I needed another commitment for each month in the year. BUT, this is something that I am already doing off and on, so I'm just going to make sure I do it diligently.
This is hosted by Colorado Lady and you can read about it here.
In January I sent a few notes to friends that are having some tough things to go through right now. My friends are so important to me....when they hurt I hurt. I want to them to know that I am keeping them in my prayers and to remind them they are not alone.
Already have some folks lined up for this month......
We can't support each other enough. Thanks Suzanne for putting this opportunity out there to remind us!

January UFO
I've met my goal for the #6 Judy pulled in the UFO Challenge! I wanted to get the piecing completed on this Knot Quilt I had started.....oh, probably 6 years ago. Isn't that just terrible!!!
BUT, with her inspiration, I did get my goal and sometime in the year I will spend two months quilting it. I am probably kidding myself.....it's a queensize quilt and I am going to handquilt, so maybe I should have alotted the entire year for that!! But I'll be so much closer to being done than I was so that is a good thing.I just found out that the February # is 10, which is a Table Runner. I may have some extra time to sneak in a little quilting on this one so I can have a head start! Lord knows I'm gonna need it!
Happy Quilting!
