As if I didn't have enough grief going on, I found out yesterday that one of my close childhood friends had died of head injuries received in a fall. We had kept touch over the years, but hadn't talked to her for several months. It's just such a shock.
Yesterday Aubree and Mia came to visit. It was Mia's 1st birthday. She was such a hoot. I tried to take her picture and everytime the camera flashed she squinted.
But I finally was able to sneak one.....
She is such a happy little thing. She is always smiling....and of course she is her Pappy's girl. I'm chopped liver once he comes around any of the grands. It's funny to watch how they just swarm him when he comes home.
I am excited because I am going to meet my sister and her husband for lunch. They are coming to one of the malls to Christmas shop and we are taking the time to yak it up for a while. It will be good for my soul to see them.
Everyone have a blessed day! Becky

thank you for your comment and she sure is a cutie!! I have one of those too and she just talks and talks. It is fun. Grief is healed by shopping sometimes but the comfort of the bible verse you have there and friends and God covers it all. May you have a blessed Christmas and time with your family.
Hi Becky, thank you for stopping by. I'm so sorry to hear about your friend, that is so sad. I lost my best friend to cancer. I miss her so much. Sometimes something will happen that just reminds me of her. Last thing she told me was that she did not want to be forgotten.
Thank you on my kitchen. I do collect jadeite but it's really hard to find here in WV. If your ever gonna be this way let me know and you can stop in. If you don't mind a house under construction that is. We have a few jobs going here. I don't drive much so I don't think I'd get to Morgentown. I love your Nativity set, that is just beautiful!
Blessings, Shirl
