Some more Adirondack fun....in the rain, of course!

We slept in a little bit, then ventured downtown to do a little shopping. We didn't buy a thing. Who was that person.....surely not me!!!!! :)

We had a bite of lunch at a cafe, then headed out to visit the Vanderbilt's. Their
Grand Camp, Sagamore, is nearby. If you were as nutty as I was about A&E's American Castles, you have seen it. Very interesting, for sure


This is the dining room on the left and the play room on the right. Both free standing buildings where guests and family gathered as community.

So we had a great tour.....had a wonderful Italian dinner at Frankie's. Stuffed to the gills!!!!

Next we will travel to Niagara Falls. More later,
